The Mathematical Signature of the Quran:The 19 System
A vast mathematical system built around the number 19, discovered in 1974 using computers, in the Quran revealed 1400 years ago.
This system is simple to understand, impossible to replicate.
One of the Great Miracles
Sura 74:35
The Quran is characterized by a unique phenomenon never found in any human-authored book. Every element of the Quran is mathematically composed—the suras, the verses, the words, the number of certain letters, the number of words from the same root, the unique spelling of certain words, and many other elements besides its content.
Because of this comprehensive mathematical coding, the slightest distortion of the Quran's text or physical arrangement is immediately exposed. For the first time in history, we have a scripture with built-in proof of divine authorship—a superhuman mathematical composition.
Simple to Understand, Impossible to Imitate
Any reader can easily verify the Quran's mathematical miracle. For example, the word "Allah" (God) occurs exactly 2698 times in the Quran—a multiple of 19 (2698 = 19×142). Furthermore, when we add the numbers of all verses where the word "Allah" occurs, we obtain 118123, also a multiple of 19 (118123 = 19×6217).
No human being(s) could have kept track of 2698 occurrences and their verse numbers—especially during the age of ignorance when the Quran was revealed, with suras and verses widely separated in time and place of revelation.
This phenomenon alone suffices as incontrovertible proof. However, the Quran's mathematical system is not limited to the word "Allah"—it is extremely vast, extremely intricate, and totally comprehensive.
Explore the System
Basmalah's 19 Letters
The Quran's opening sentence 'Bismillahirrahmanirrahim' consists of exactly 19 letters. Every letter, word, Abjad value and position of the Basmalah is in perfect harmony with the 19 system.
Quran's 114 Suras
The Quran consists of exactly 114 chapters, each sura's sequence number and verse count is part of the 19-based mathematical system. The formula 114 = 19×6 is just the beginning.
Quran's 6346 Verses
6234 numbered + 112 unnumbered (Basmalah) verses = 6346 total. Every verse number, position and concatenation forms a multiple of 19.
Quranic Initials System
Mysterious letter combinations found at the beginning of 29 suras. 14 letters that make up half of the Arabic alphabet are mathematically arranged in perfect order around the 19 system.
Numbers in Quran & 19 Harmony
The Quran contains 30 different numbers from 1 to 100,000 and 8 fractional numbers. These number selections are also part of the 19 system. The fact that 162,146, the sum of these 30 numbers, is also a multiple of 19 proves that no number was chosen by chance.
Interactive Test Systems
All suras and verses of the Quran are mathematically encoded in a giant 12,692-digit number. A single verse addition, deletion, or alteration collapses the entire system! Test this precise protection system live.
