| 68 | 26 | فَلَمّا رَأَوها قالوا إِنّا لَضالّونَ | 2 |

| 68 | 28 | قالَ أَوسَطُهُم أَلَم أَقُل لَكُم لَولا تُسَبِّحونَ | 1 |
| 68 | 29 | قالوا سُبحـٰنَ رَبِّنا إِنّا كُنّا ظـٰلِمينَ | 5 |
| 68 | 30 | فَأَقبَلَ بَعضُهُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ يَتَلـٰوَمونَ | 1 |
| 68 | 31 | قالوا يـٰوَيلَنا إِنّا كُنّا طـٰغينَ | 4 |
| 68 | 32 | عَسىٰ رَبُّنا أَن يُبدِلَنا خَيرًا مِنها إِنّا إِلىٰ رَبِّنا رٰغِبونَ | 7 |
| 68 | 33 | كَذٰلِكَ العَذابُ وَلَعَذابُ الـٔاخِرَةِ أَكبَرُ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ | 2 |
| 68 | 34 | إِنَّ لِلمُتَّقينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِم جَنّـٰتِ النَّعيمِ | 5 |
| 68 | 35 | أَفَنَجعَلُ المُسلِمينَ كَالمُجرِمينَ | 3 |
| 68 | 36 | ما لَكُم كَيفَ تَحكُمونَ | 1 |
| 68 | 37 | أَم لَكُم كِتـٰبٌ فيهِ تَدرُسونَ | 1 |
| 68 | 38 | إِنَّ لَكُم فيهِ لَما تَخَيَّرونَ | 2 |
| 68 | 39 | أَم لَكُم أَيمـٰنٌ عَلَينا بـٰلِغَةٌ إِلىٰ يَومِ القِيـٰمَةِ إِنَّ لَكُم لَما تَحكُمونَ | 4 |
| 68 | 40 | سَلهُم أَيُّهُم بِذٰلِكَ زَعيمٌ | - |
| 68 | 41 | أَم لَهُم شُرَكاءُ فَليَأتوا بِشُرَكائِهِم إِن كانوا صـٰدِقينَ | 3 |
| 68 | 42 | يَومَ يُكشَفُ عَن ساقٍ وَيُدعَونَ إِلَى السُّجودِ فَلا يَستَطيعونَ | 3 |
| 68 | 43 | خـٰشِعَةً أَبصـٰرُهُم تَرهَقُهُم ذِلَّةٌ وَقَد كانوا يُدعَونَ إِلَى السُّجودِ وَهُم سـٰلِمونَ | 3 |
| 68 | 44 | فَذَرنى وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهـٰذَا الحَديثِ سَنَستَدرِجُهُم مِن حَيثُ لا يَعلَمونَ | 5 |
| 68 | 45 | وَأُملى لَهُم إِنَّ كَيدى مَتينٌ | 2 |
| 68 | 46 | أَم تَسـَٔلُهُم أَجرًا فَهُم مِن مَغرَمٍ مُثقَلونَ | 2 |
| 68 | 47 | أَم عِندَهُمُ الغَيبُ فَهُم يَكتُبونَ | 2 |
| 68 | 48 | فَاصبِر لِحُكمِ رَبِّكَ وَلا تَكُن كَصاحِبِ الحوتِ إِذ نادىٰ وَهُوَ مَكظومٌ | 2 |
| 68 | 49 | لَولا أَن تَدٰرَكَهُ نِعمَةٌ مِن رَبِّهِ لَنُبِذَ بِالعَراءِ وَهُوَ مَذمومٌ | 4 |
| 68 | 50 | فَاجتَبـٰهُ رَبُّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ مِنَ الصّـٰلِحينَ | 2 |
| 68 | 51 | وَإِن يَكادُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَيُزلِقونَكَ بِأَبصـٰرِهِم لَمّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكرَ وَيَقولونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجنونٌ | 7 |

How "Nun" is Written in Historical Manuscripts
Historical Quran manuscripts from different periods show various practices regarding the writing of the letter Nun at the beginning of Sura Al-Qalam. Some manuscripts use a single Nun letter, while others show double Nun (نون - Nun-Waw-Nun) or special markings. Ibn al-Bawwab Mushaf
1000-1001 CE, Nasḫī script
This manuscript from the Chester Beatty Library was written by the great master of Islamic calligraphy, ʿAlī b. Hilāl (Ibn al-Bawwab), in Baghdad in 1000-1001 CE. At the beginning of Sura Al-Qalam, a second Nun letter added in red ink is clearly visible above the first Nun with a vowel mark, along with a pause mark. This is one of the most important Quran manuscripts from the golden age of Islamic calligraphy. Ibn al-Bawwab was one of the greatest masters of Nasḫī script, and this manuscript is an invaluable resource for both calligraphic art and Quranic history.
Ibn Khalawayh's Quranic Readings
980 CE, Eastern Kufic script
This is not a Mushaf, but a scholarly study of various Quranic reading traditions written by grammarian and lexicographer Ibn Khalawayh (d. 980-981). Born in Hamadan (Iran), educated in Baghdad (Iraq), he later worked in the court of Hamdanid emir Sayf al-Dawla in Aleppo (Syria). In this document, the initial letter at the beginning of Sura Al-Qalam is written in full as Nun-Waw-Nun (نون). This is significant academic evidence that even in the 10th century, the Nun was understood and read as a complete word.

According to variants documented on the EvQ (Encyclopedia of Quranic Variant Readings) platform, the Nun at the beginning of Sura Al-Qalam was read in two different ways by early Quran reciters: نُونْ (as the word Nun - reported by Ibn Abbas, Abū al-Sammāl, al-A'mash) or ن وَالْقَلَمِ (as the letter Nun and the word "Pen" - reported by Ya'qūb, Ibn Muḥayṣin). These variants demonstrate that various traditions existed in understanding the mysterious letters of the Quran.

According to Khalifa's findings, the initial at verse 68:1 should be read as "نون" (the word Nun), which counts as 2 Nun letters, yielding a total of 133 (19×7) Nun letters in the sura. Historical manuscripts and records from the EvQ platform support this reading.
